Baseball Recap: Kenyon-Wanamingo Comes Up Short

Kenyon-Wanamingo came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the United South Central Rebels, falling 9-3. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Kenyon-Wanamingo's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for United South Central, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

Kenyon-Wanamingo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-1 loss against Chatfield on the 16th. United South Central has also already played their next contest (against Jackson County Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
