Basketball Recap: Postville Comes Up Short

Postville lost against Clayton-Ridge back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Postville Pirates had to suffer through a 58-23 loss at the hands of the Clayton-Ridge Eagles. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Postville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Clayton-Ridge, they moved to 7-13 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Postville will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Winneshiek on February 15th. As for Clayton-Ridge, they will venture away from home to square off against North Fayette Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Clayton-Ridge is facing North Fayette Valley at the right time seeing as North Fayette Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
