Janzen Long posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Long and Marcellus will host Westhill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
