Basketball Game Preview: Badger Braves vs. Lordstown Red Devils

Badger has gone 8-2 against Lordstown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Braves will be home for the holidays to greet the Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. Badger has given up an average of 56.2 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Badger came up short against Maplewood and fell 60-48. The game marked the Braves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Loss or not, Badger got some senior leadership from Tyler McWilliams and Lewis Flowers. McWilliams posted 13 points and eight boards, while Flowers scored eight points and five steals. Flowers is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Lordstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Champion.

Badger's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Lordstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Badger against Lordstown in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured an 80-32 victory. In that contest, the Braves amassed a halftime lead of 47-24, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
