Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Merrimack). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over the Goffstown Grizzlies. This was payback for the Tomahawks, who suffered a 20-19 loss the last time these two teams met.

Merrimack's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Goffstown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Merrimack will head out to challenge Keene at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tomahawks will be up against the Blackbirds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Goffstown, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Timberlane at 7:00 p.m.
