Soccer Game Preview: Memorial vs. Pryor

The Memorial Chargers will head out to face off against the Pryor Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Memorial's offense. They lost 5-0 to Booker T. Washington on Monday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Pryor challenged East Central on Tuesday. The Tigers never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Pryor haven't had any issues with East Central recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pryor, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Memorial couldn't quite get it done against Pryor when the teams last played back in April of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
