The Snow Canyon Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Snow Canyon sitting on four straight wins and Crimson Cliffs on three.
Last Friday, Snow Canyon got the win against Pine View by a conclusive 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Zach Beck tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.1 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.
On the hitting side, Cael Johnson was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Dewy Gibb, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Snow Canyon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pine View only posted an OBP of .269.
Meanwhile, Crimson Cliffs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Cedar 11-9. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly two runs.
Crimson Cliffs also got a great performance from MADDEN SMITH as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Those hits were SMITH's first of the season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on RYDER SHERRATT, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of JACKSON WITTWER, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
Snow Canyon pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Crimson Cliffs, their record is now 13-5.
Snow Canyon came out on top in a nail-biter against Crimson Cliffs in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
