After a string of four wins, Leeton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. The game between them and the Knob Noster Panthers didn't end well, with the Leeton Bulldogs falling 65-49. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-35 back in December of 2024.

Leeton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Knob Noster, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Leeton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bunceton/Otterville at 5:30 p.m. on February 5th. As for Knob Noster, they will challenge Lexington at 6:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
