Softball Recap: Rayne Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Rayne was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against the Acadiana Rams, falling 9-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 22-16 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2020.

Rayne's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Acadiana, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Rayne didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-12 victory against South Terrebonne on the 7th. As for Acadiana, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-1 win against Crowley on the 7th.
