Basketball Recap: Dupree Comes Up Short

Dupree lost against Lemmon back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dupree Tigers were dealt a 53-23 loss at the hands of the Lemmon Cowboys. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Cowboys are ranked 12th).

Dupree's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lemmon, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

When Dupree and Lemmon next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Dupree will try to stop McLaughlin's six-game winning streak when the meet at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lemmon will take on Flasher and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
