Football Game Preview: McCluer Comets vs. Lafayette Lancers

The McCluer Comets will square off against the Lafayette Lancers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: McCluer has struggled recently with eight losses in a row, while Lafayette will arrive with five straight victories.

On Saturday, McCluer came up short against McCluer North and fell 19-10.

Meanwhile, while Lafayette put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Pattonville. The Lancers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pirates 35-0. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won four contests by 35 points or more so far this season.

McCluer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lafayette, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
