Roger Bacon entered their tilt with Norwood on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Indians a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won three contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Kyle Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Ethen Weimer also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Roger Bacon's record is now 6-4. As for Norwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roger Bacon will challenge Princeton at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Norwood, they will take on New Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
