Recap: Fort Ann Cardinals vs. Argyle Scots
The Fort Ann Cardinals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They lost to Argyle at home by a decisive 45-27 margin. Fort Ann was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Argyle apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Aryanna Lapointe was Fort Ann's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Summer Iacobucci held things down on the boards with four rebounds.
Addyson Burch took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Fort Ann has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Argyle, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-15.
Fort Ann didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-33 defeat vs. North Warren Central on the 7th. Argyle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
