Soccer Preview: Kettering vs. Milford        
        
		
             Kettering has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Milford Mavericks at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Kettering will bounce into Monday's   matchup after  beating Lakeland, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Kettering's defense stepped up to hand Lakeland  a   3-0 shutout  on Thursday. Give the Captains' defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.
 They hit Lakeland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Cooper Cohoon, 
 Elyan Galvez, and 
 Ryan Novack.
 Meanwhile,  after failing to score in their last  game, Milford made sure to put some  goals up on the board against Chelsea  on Thursday. They blew past the Bulldogs 7-1. That looming  7-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mavericks yet this  season.
 Kettering's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Milford, their win bumped their record up to 6-0-3.
