Softball Recap: Glenville-Emmons Falls to Grand Meadow/Kingsland/Leroy-Ostrander in First Game of Season

Glenville-Emmons unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander Superlarks on Friday, falling 8-1. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Lilah Reindal made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

The victory (which was Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Glenville-Emmons is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge United South Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander, they will take on Houston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
