Basketball Recap: Marmaduke Comes Up Short

After flying high against Piggott last Tuesday, Marmaduke came back down to earth. The Marmaduke Greyhounds took a 68-50 bruising from the Bay Yellowjackets on Saturday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-66 back in November of 2024.

Marmaduke dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bay, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Marmaduke will face off against Gosnell at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Marmaduke is facing Gosnell at the right time seeing as Gosnell is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bay, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 66-45 defeat against Marked Tree on the 30th.
