Soccer Recap: Wylie Comes Up Short

Wylie entered their matchup against Memorial on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Mavericks. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Wylie came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Memorial are ranked 536th).

The defeat was their first at home, dropping their record down to 7-5-1. As for Memorial, they moved to 5-8-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.
