Basketball Recap: Santa Clara Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Mark Perez Jr and Dj Hughes + How To Watch

The Saints fell 58-46 to the St. Genevieve Valiants on Wednesday. The Saints have struggled against the Valiants recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Santa Clara had strong showings from Dj Hughes, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points, and Mark Perez Jr, who posted 11 points. Jj Ward was another key player, putting up six points along with ten boards and four steals.

Santa Clara's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for St. Genevieve, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
