Baseball Game Preview: Draper APA Eagles vs. Intermountain Christian Lions

For the second straight game, Draper APA will face off against Intermountain Christian. The Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Draper APA is leaving town to face Intermountain Christian after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Eagles fell 15-11 to the Lions on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

For Intermountain Christian's part, they got a massive performance out of Caleb Furze, who went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs Furze has posted since back in August of 2024. Stratton Humphreys was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Draper APA came up short against Intermountain Christian when the teams last played on Tuesday, falling 15-11. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
