Basketball Game Preview: Woodland Beavers vs. Hudson's Bay Eagles

Woodland is on a three-game streak of home losses, Hudson's Bay a 12-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Woodland Beavers will host the Hudson's Bay Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Woodland had to suffer through a 72-22 loss at the hands of R.A. Long. The game marked the Beavers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 83-43, which was the final score in Hudson's Bay's tilt against Columbia River on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Rapids are ranked 41st).

Hudson's Bay's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
