Roaring Fork had won two straight  games  and  Lucas Carballeira did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Roaring Fork Rams simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Brush Beetdiggers 60-27 thanks in part to  Carballeira, who  went 9 of 15  on his way to 21  points in addition to eight  assists and four  steals. Those eight  assists gave  him a new career-high.
 The team also got some help courtesy of  Luis Andrade, who  made all 5  shots he took to post 10 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's  improved his point production for three straight games.
Roaring Fork's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Brush, they moved to 3-2 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roaring Fork will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Basalt at 4:00  p.m.  on January 4, 2025. One thing working in Roaring Fork's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last three matches. As for Brush, they will head out to  square off against Fort Morgan  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
