Ruidoso won the last time they faced Tularosa and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Ruidoso never let Tularosa on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Kanea Kane, who had nine digs and four aces. Lilly Mendez also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Ruidoso was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in eight consecutive contests.

Ruidoso's record now sits at 14-9. As for Tularosa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.
