The Berkeley Prep Buccaneers will venture away from home to square off against the Foundation Academy Lions at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Berkeley Prep's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Foundation Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Berkeley Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Horizon, taking the game 7-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Avery Powers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.
