Softball Recap: Clermont Northeastern Wins Going Away Against Felicity-Franklin

Clermont Northeastern won the last time they faced Felicity-Franklin and things went their way on Friday too. The Rockets blew past the Cardinals 15-3. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Jenna Brown made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Brown was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

In other batting news, Clermont Northeastern got a massive performance out of Bella Wilson, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four runs gave Wilson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anabelle King, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Clermont Northeastern was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Clermont Northeastern now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Felicity-Franklin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clermont Northeastern will venture away from home to challenge Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Felicity-Franklin, they will head out to square off against Bethel-Tate at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
