Basketball Recap: Orchard Farm Skates Past Duchesne with Ease

Orchard Farm won the last time they faced Duchesne and things went their way on Friday too. The Orchard Farm Eagles breezed by the Duchesne Pioneers to the tune of 65-38. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Pioneers are ranked 506th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Orchard Farm is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Duchesne, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Orchard Farm will venture away from home to face off against St. Charles West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Charles West is on a four-game streak of home wins, Orchard Farm a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Duchesne, they will host Priory at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
