Chiefland barely beat Taylor County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

While Chiefland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-23.

Anna Jane Meeks paced Chiefland's offense, picking up seven kills. Meeks got some help from Amber Campbell and her 14 assists. Riley Davies and Gralie Keene kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

The victory got Chiefland back to even at 1-1.
