Basketball Recap: Bard Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bard lost against Jackson-Reed back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Falcons were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 78-46. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andre Wright and Tony Evans certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Wright posted 12 points and eight rebounds, while Evans earned 11 points.

Jackson-Reed's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Averi Knight, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 14 points. James Walker was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Bard's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jackson-Reed, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bard will take on Anacostia at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jackson-Reed, they will square off against Cardozo at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Clerks have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
