            Albany extended their losing streak  to four  on Friday, dropping them down to 3-4. They came up short against  the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks, falling  42-16. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  28-8.
 Albany's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kahlil Beckett, who rushed for 90 yards, and also caught one  touchdown.
As for Saratoga Springs, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 31.5 points over those games.
  Benjamin Coryea was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 229 yards and three  TDs while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. Coryea is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing yards: he's   rushed for at least 115 every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Albany has already played their next contest,  a  61-8  defeat against Christian Brothers Academy on the 24th. As for Saratoga Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  35-21  loss against Shenendehowa on the 24th.
