Basketball Game Preview: Fort Vancouver Trappers vs. Stevenson Bulldogs

The Fort Vancouver Trappers will take on the Stevenson Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Vancouver knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Stevenson likes a good challenge.

Fort Vancouver is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Seton Catholic just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 74-59 to the Cougars.

Meanwhile, Stevenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 67-51 bruising from Kalama.

Fort Vancouver's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Stevenson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Everything came up roses for Fort Vancouver against Stevenson in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 86-40 victory. Does Fort Vancouver have another victory up their sleeve, or will Stevenson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
