Mossyrock won the last time they faced Morton/White Pass and things went their way on Friday too. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Timberwolves. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Easton Kolb made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. He has become a key player for Mossyrock: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-9 otherwise.

In other batting news, Kevin Mitchell was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Gunnar Callies also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Mossyrock lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Mossyrock and bumps their season record up to 9-9. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Morton/White Pass, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-18.

Mossyrock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morton/White Pass, they will venture away from home to challenge Highland at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Timberwolves are facing the Scots at the right time seeing as the Scots are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
