Basketball Game Preview: Overton Bobcats vs. Whites Creek Cobras + How To Watch

The Overton Bobcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Whites Creek Cobras at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Overton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Overton will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Mount Juliet, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Bobcats took down the Golden Bears 59-45 on Tuesday. The Bobcats pushed the score to 53-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Golden Bears cut but never quite recovered from.

William Livingston produced another solid effort putting up 15 points and five rebounds. Livingston is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Messiah Clayborne was another key player, scoring seven points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Whites Creek came up short against Brentwood Academy on Tuesday and fell 68-61. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whites Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Overton, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Overton strolled past Whites Creek in their previous matchup back in December of 2019 by a score of 68-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
