Baseball Recap: Ukiah Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Ukiah's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Windsor Jaguars on Wednesday. It was the first time this season that the Wildcats let down their fans at home.

Ukiah saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Takoda Newman, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Ukiah's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Windsor, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ukiah will square off against rival Rancho Cotate at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Windsor is set to challenge their familiar foe Cardinal Newman at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
