Northwest has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Tohatchi Cougars at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Things were looking good for Northwest after they put the first points on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 7-3 to Jemez Valley. Northwest has struggled against Jemez Valley recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Tohatchi had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 runs), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Saints as they made off with a 20-5 win. Considering Tohatchi has won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Tohatchi, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.
