Corbin lost to South Laurel back in February of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Redhounds snuck past the Cardinals with a 48-42 victory. The 48-point effort marked the Redhounds' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Corbin's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for South Laurel, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Corbin will take on rival Williamsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Laurel is set to challenge their familiar foe Whitley County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
