De La Salle owns the national standard at 151 games. The current leaders are Regina (Iowa City, Iowa) and Ithaca (Mich.), and they would need to go undefeated for about eight years to equal that mark.

When Clairton lost to Monessen 42-24 last week, the defeat ended a 66-game winning streak for the Bears. The streak ranks as the 10th-longest winning streak in American history.
