Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Christian Couriers vs. Granger Christian Knights

Clinton Christian is 2-8 against Granger Christian since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Clinton Christian Couriers will face off against the Granger Christian Knights at 7:30 p.m. Clinton Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

If Clinton Christian beats Granger Christian with 52 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Clinton Christian secured a 52-47 W over Varsity Opponent back in December of 2024. That's two games straight that the Couriers have won by exactly five points.

Clinton Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anthony Snyder led the charge by going 7 of 16 on his way to 21 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Miller, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Granger Christian came up short against Trinity Greenlawn on Saturday and fell 44-32. The Knights have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Granger Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Clinton Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Clinton Christian and Granger Christian were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but Clinton Christian came up empty-handed after a 30-29 loss. Can Clinton Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
