Volleyball Game Preview: Lindblom Eagles vs. Kennedy Crusaders

The Lindblom Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Kennedy Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Lindblom was able to grind out a solid win over Perspectives-IIT/Joslin, taking the game 2-0.

Lindblom never let Perspectives-IIT/Joslin on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Kennedy waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crusaders have posted since September 27th.

Kennedy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-17, 29-27.

Lindblom's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 17-5-1.
