While Hamilton Township's victory against Westland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rangers had just enough and edged out the Cougars 1-0. That's two games straight that Hamilton Township have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sadie Orum, who's now up to six this season.

The win made it two in a row for Hamilton Township and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Westland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Hamilton Township and Westland could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Rangers (ranked 308th) will meet Liberty Union (ranked 152nd) at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Westland will square off against Westerville North at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (394 vs. 60).
