Softball Recap: Psalms Christian Academy Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Psalms Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets on Thursday. For the Ambassadors, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Nataleigh Jones was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Lexi Powell was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Psalms Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-2.

Psalms Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-0 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 4th.
