Duchesne is 8-2 against Altamont since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. Altamont took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Duchesne, who comes in off a win.

Duchesne not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Gunnison Valley. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

While Duchesne won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Altamont came up short against Tintic on Friday and fell 3-1. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-20, 25-27, 28-26.

Duchesne's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Altamont, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

Everything went Duchesne's way against Altamont when the teams last played back in August, as Duchesne made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
