Football Recap: Hagerty Huskies vs. Lake Howell Silverhawks
Hagerty took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They took down the Lake Howell Silverhawks 31-14. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Porter Williams was a one-man wrecking crew for Hagerty as he rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Williams' longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalon Lewis, who gained 165 total yards.
Hagerty was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 319 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
