It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Andrew Jackson had no problem doing just that on Monday. They blew past the Marianna Bulldogs 79-55. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Jahari Simmons, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 20 points along with five assists and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was David Wilson, who went 6-for-9 en route to 17 points and three steals.

Andrew Jackson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in six consecutive matchups.

Andrew Jackson is on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-2 record this season. As for Marianna, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-6.

Looking ahead, Andrew Jackson will take on Florida State University High School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Florida State University High School knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 contests -- so hopefully Andrew Jackson likes a good challenge.
