For the second straight game, Dobie will face off against Ridge Point. The Longhorns will head out to take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dobie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

Dobie is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over Ridge Point. Dobie's win was all the more impressive since the Panthers were averaging only 3.09 runs allowed on the season.

Vanessa De La Fuente spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Dobie let Persephone Soria and Leslie Sarduy run wild. Soria got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Sarduy went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Soria has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alexis Martinez, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI.

Dobie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Dobie is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Ridge Point, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-4.
