Cameron won the last time they faced Magnolia and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Dragons blew past the Blue Eagles 12-2. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Cameron let  Wes Starcher and  Kason Angel run wild. Starcher  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3, while  Angel  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most  runs  Starcher has posted since back in April of 2024.  Zayde Long was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
Cameron's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 4-3. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Magnolia,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Looking ahead, Cameron will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Clay-Battelle  at 5:00  p.m. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cee-Bees have averaged an impressive 7.2  runs per game this season. As for Magnolia, they will venture away from home to  face off against Tyler  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
