Soccer Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy fought the good fight in their overtime match against De Anza on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the De Anza Dons by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss back in January.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for De Anza, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Kennedy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Healdsburg on the 19th. As for De Anza, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Analy on the 18th.
