Summit Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as MJ Patton went 11-for-18 en route to 27 points and five assists and Chance Watkins dropped a triple-double with 13 points, 12 boards, and ten assists. The dominant performance gave Watkins a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Carpenter, who went 5-for-6 on his way to 10 points.

Meanwhile, Ballard Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 79-20 loss at the hands of Jefferson Christian Academy. Ballard Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-13.

Ballard Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Summit Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.
