Volleyball Recap: Ranchview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ranchview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Berkner Rams, falling 3-0. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rams when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-10.

Simran Patel paced Ranchview's offense, picking up four kills. Patel got some help from Summer Huddleston and her nine assists. Huddleston was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Berkner's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dayana Cardenas Lopez, who had four digs and two aces. Stephanie Reyna was another key player, getting eight digs and one assist.

Ranchview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-2. As for Berkner, their record is now 10-13.

Ranchview and Berkner will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolves will take on rival Ferris at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Berkner is set to challenge their familiar foe MacArthur at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
