Basketball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Richfield Spartans, falling 106-67. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now lost six in a row.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Richfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Kennedy will be playing in front of their home fans against Fridley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richfield, they will head out on the road to square off against Brooklyn Center at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
