Basketball Recap: Crestview Comes Up Short

Crestview was the 62-57 winner over Plymouth when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Crestview Cougars fell just short of the Plymouth Big Red by a score of 52-49 on Monday. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Plymouth, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Madison Comprehensive at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestview is facing Madison Comprehensive at the right time seeing as Madison Comprehensive is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Plymouth, they will square off against St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Paul will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Plymouth surely won't give up without a fight.
