Softball Recap: Marlboro Takes a Loss

Marlboro and Hunterdon Central squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Marlboro had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 5-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 9-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2017.

Marlboro now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Hunterdon Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

Marlboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hunterdon Central has already played their next game (against Hightstown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
